2025 Nfinity NAIA Cheer & Dance National Championships Get Underway Friday in Ypsilanti
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The 2024-25 NAIA winter championships season concludes, Friday and Saturday in Ypsilanti, Mich., as 27 teams – 12 dance and 15 cheer – converge on the George Gervin GameAbove Center, in search of a pair of Red Banners in the 2025 Nfinity NAIA Cheer & Dance National Championships.
In the cheer field, all 15 teams in the 2025 event have qualified previously, including 13 repeat qualifiers from the 2024 championship, and in dance, nine teams return from the 2024 championship, one is making a return, and two – Our Lady of the Lake (Texas) and Saint Mary (Kan.) – have qualified for the first time.
Both fields include last year’s national champion, St. Ambrose (Iowa), as the Bees claimed both championships in 2024.
The Battle For The Red Banner begins with the Competitive Dance Preliminary Round,
Friday at 4 p.m. ET, followed by Competitive Cheer Prelims at 6:30. Action resumes and champions are crowned Saturday, beginning at 10 a.m. ET with Competitive Dance Finals, followed by the final round for Competitive Cheer at 2 p.m. ET.
