KANSAS CITY, MO. - LaShaun Rule of Olivet Nazarene (Ill.) has been named the NAIA National Football Offensive Player of the Week and Joe Caicedo of Montana Western has been named the NAIA National Football Defensive Player of the Week and Nestor Higuera of Arizona Christian has been named the NAIA National Football Special Teams Player of the Week, the National office announced Monday.

• Converted all four PATs against Wayland Baptist to score 16 points on Saturday
• Made field goals of 49, 27, 49 and 45 yards
• Set ACU longest field goal school record

Defensive Player of the Week

Joe Caicedo, Montana Western

• Recorded ten tackles (7 solo)
• Returned two fumbles for touchdowns (45 & 25 yds)
• Lead Montana Western to 38-7 win over Rocky Mountain (Mont.)

Offensive Player of the Week

• Set school record in rushing yards in a game and rushing touchdowns in a game
• Rule rushed for 294 yards Saturday
• Scoring 5 rushing touchdowns to lead Olivet Nazarene to 49-31 win
