SCAD Savannah (Ga.) Claims Semifinal Nail-Biter over Concordia (Mich.) to Advance in 2025 Men’s Bowling Championship

STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich. – SCAD Savannah (Ga.) needed all seven games Saturday morning at 5 Star Lanes in the semifinal round of the 2025 NAIA Men’s Bowling National Championship, taking down Concordia University (Mich.) to move on to the championship final at 2 p.m. (Eastern).

The Bees were down 3-2 through five, rallying to claim the sixth and seventh games by a total of 57 pins, taking momentum back after Concordia looked to have it through five.

SCAD Savannah darted out to an early lead in the match, taking the first two games – 234-195, 244-172 – but Concordia was able to close the gap by winning the next two 242-193, 257-191.

Concordia pulled ahead in the match with a seven-pin decision in the fifth, 230-223, but the Bees forced a decisive seventh by winning the sixth, 210-172. SCAD Savannah secured its spot in the championship match in the seventh, 244-225.

The Bees will meet Marian (Ind.) for the 2025 NAIA Men’s Bowling National Championship at 2 p.m. ET. The match will air live on UEN and the NAIA Network, with links at www.naia.org/watch.
