KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Webber International (Fla.) freshman Christopher Richards, Jr., is the NAIA Men's Golfer of the Week for March 11 after a win at the Currahee Club Invitational, last week, hosted by Indiana Wesleyan.

Richards, a native of Trinidad and Tobago, became the third Warrior to win an event this spring, finishing last week's event in 10-under par. 

He opened with a first-round, 3-under 69, backed up by a 2-under 67 - but he saved his best for last, shooting 67 in the third round of the event to close out a five-shot win.

The Warriors were second in IWU's event, and this week, they won the Carey Collegiate. Up next for Webber International is the 2026 Roadrunner Classic, at The Farm Golf Club in Rocky Face, Ga., hosted by Dalton State (Ga.).
