Grand View (Iowa) Climbs to No. 24, Securing Spot in 2026 Championship
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Keiser (Fla.) remained unanimous at No. 1, one of 10 teams that didn't move in the final Netting Professionals NAIA Men's Golf Coaches' Top 25 of the 2025-26 season, which was released in conjunction with the 2026 NAIA Men's Golf National Championship Qualifiers, May 1.
Oklahoma City followed, claiming all 18 second-place considerations, but that's where the season's final rating began to shift. Both Dalton State (Ga.) and Reinhardt (Ga.) moved up a spot, dropping Webber International (Fla.) two places to make up the season's final top five. Missouri Valley moved up four to get into the top 10, and the key move of the week put Grand View (Iowa) in the 74th-Annual National Championship, as the Vikings made up 50 points from April 17 to April 30, claiming a second bid to the championship from the Heart of America Athletic Conference.
The rating determines at-large selections for the championship, and Cumberlands (Ky.), at No. 20, claimed the final spot by moving two places, 15 points better than No. 21 William Woods (Mo.).
The Championship includes a 29-team field with 19 automatic qualifiers and 10 teams selected through the final rating. There are also 11 individual qualifiers in the field. Individuals qualified as conference medalists not on a qualifying team, members of the 2025 all-tournament team, or through at-large selection based on Clippd Scoreboard rankings.

Ratings Methodology
- The rating is rated by a panel of head coaches representing each of the conferences and unaffiliated groupings.
- The Top 25 is determined by a points system based on how each rater rates the best teams. A team receives 30 points for each first-place vote, 29 for second-place, 28 for third-place and so on through the list.
- The highest and lowest ratings for each team (a non-rating is considered a low rating) are removed. The team’s rating will be recalculated with an additional point added to each team for every ballot (including discounted ballots) that the team appears on.
- Teams that receive only one point in the ballot are not considered “receiving votes”.
