Seahawks Remain Atop the Leaderboard Midway Through the 2026 NAIA Men's Swimming and Diving National Championship

Elkhart, Ind. – Keiser (Fla.) captured a pair of national titles on the day to extend its lead atop the team leaderboard midway through 2026 NAIA Men’s Swimming & Diving Championships Thursday night at the Elkhart Aquatic Center. Day two was highlighted with three NAIA records and four national titles being earned.

The Seahawks had five All-American swims and a pair of NAIA records to extend their lead with 263 points. Isaiah Aleksenko touched the wall in 1:44.48 for the 200 IM, shattering the previous record by over two seconds.  Keiser also set a new record in the 200 free relay as Noel de Geus, Aleksenko, Hanno Boeckmann, and Jet Fuhrmann teamed up for a winning time of 1:18.27. 

SCAD-Savannah (Ga.) remains in second place with 140 points. Levente MozsÁrik sprinted his way to a NAIA record, clocking a 19.30 to win the 50 free.  The Bees also notched a runner-up finish in the 200 free relay, finishing with a time of 1:19.48. 

Milligan (Tenn.) is in third place with 139 points behind four NAIA All-American performances.  William Carey (Miss.) sits in fourth place with 120 points with a trio of All-American swims. 

Cumberlands (Ky.) rounds out the top five with 114 points.  The Patriots’ Titouan Bernot clocked a 4:22.64, the second-fastest time in NAIA history, to win the 500 free.

The NAIA Championship will continue on Friday, March 6, with the third day of competition. Prelims are slated to begin at 9 a.m. EST, and finals will start at 5 p.m. EST.
