Keiser (Fla.) Claims Back-to-Back Men's Swimming & Diving Banners, Seventh National Championship in Eight Tries

Elkhart, Ind. – Keiser (Fla.) recorded 675 points, including capturing 11 individual national championships, en route to their seventh NAIA Red Banner, winning the 2026 NAIA Men’s Swimming & Diving Championships Saturday night at the Elkhart Aquatic Center. In addition, the Seahawks swept the NAIA top honors.

Isaiah Aleksenko broke the 200 fly NAIA record in prelims, before besting that time in the finals, clocking a 1:43.37 for his third individual national title of these championships. That performance also earned Aleksenko NAIA Swimmer of the Year accolades.  Keiser closed out the championship by shattering the 400 free relay national record as Carlos Trinidad Sancho, Aleksenko, Dawid Malik, and Hanno Boeckmann teamed up to clock a 2:53.68. 

Noel de Gues collected his second individual national title of the championship as he went 1:56.47 to win the 200 breaststroke.  de Gues also garnered the NAIA Swim of the Meet for his performance in the 100 breast.  The Seahawks added two more top honors as Adrian Avilan Sosa was named the NAIA Diver of the Year, and Head Coach Adam Epstein was named the NAIA Coach of the Year for the sixth time.

Cumberlands (Ky.) tallied 397 points to finish as the NAIA National Runner-Up for the first time in their program’s history.  The Patriots notched a trio of the top-three finishes on the day, highlighted by Brandon Holder touching the wall in 1:45.61 to win the 200 backstroke.  Cumberlands also tallied a third-place finish in the 400 free relay and closed out the championship with three national titles.   

A late surge propelled SCAD (Ga.) into a third-place finish with 277 points.  The Bees posted a one-two finish in the 100 free as Levente Mozsarik went 42.85 to capture the national title.  Teammate Zoltan Tompos finished as the national runner-up with a 43.60.  SCAD closed out the championships with a trio of national titles.

Milligan (Tenn.) had a trio of NAIA All-Americans in the 200 breast to close out the championships in fourth place with 360 points. Caleb Fry and Elijah Hollman finish second and third, respectively, in the 200 breaststroke.

St. Thomas (Fla.) rounds out the top-5 with 282 points.  The Bobcats also earned the final individual national title of the meet as Alan Gonzalez Torres clocked a 15:30.13 to win the 1650 free.

Keiser's championship was its second-straight, winning seven of the last eight NAIA Men's Swimming & Diving Red Banners.
