KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Matt Shearer of William Carey (Miss.) picked up NAIA Men's Tennis Player of the Week. Bain was selected based on performances from April 7-13 and was chosen out of a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unaffiliated group and independent institution nominees. Players of the Week are announced weekly throughout the regular season on Wednesdays on naia.org, Instagram, and Twitter.

• Shearer went 5-0 last week, taking down the seventh-ranked player in the ITA standings.
• Helped the Crusaders defeat eighth-ranked Xavier (La.), 14th-ranked Dillard (La.), and receiving votes Mobile (Ala.)
