KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Coastal Georgia senior Artur Pons Medina is the NAIA Men's Tennis Player of the Week for March 10, earning the award after a 4-0 week in wins over Tiffin, Marian (Ind.), and Spring Arbor (Mich.), last week.

Pons Medina, from Valencia, Spain, opened the week with a 3-1 singles decision and a 6-2 doubles win at the No. 1 position for the Mariners against Tiffin. 

He followed with a 6-0, 6-0 win at the top spot in a 4-0 win over No. 20 Marian, adding a 6-3 doubles win to help the Mariners upset the Knights.

Pons Medina closed the week with a come-from-behind win at the No. 1 position against Aziz Madatov, from Spring Arbor, and as he did all week, paired with Salvador Pons Medina to claim a 6-0 doubles win over Jaume Riera Galindo and Daniel Rodriguez Fortes. 

The Mariners are 5-1 on the year and back in action this afternoon, at 1 p.m. ET, against Georgetown (Ky.).
