KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Lev Sholosh of Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) has been named NAIA Men’s Tennis Player of the Week following a standout performance in a pair of ranked victories for the Blue Raiders. The honor marks back-to-back weeks that Lindsey Wilson has claimed the national award.

Sholosh posted a 3-1 record on the week as the Blue Raiders secured two additional wins over ranked opponents at home. On Monday, he improved to 5-0 in Mid-South Conference play with a straight-set victory over Cumberlands’ (Ky.) Darius Kuster, clinching the team's win over the Patriots. He also teamed with Lucas Marques at No. 1 doubles to secure the doubles point.

Sholosh added another singles victory in Thursday’s nonconference matchup against Oakland City (Ind.), continuing his strong run in both singles and doubles play.

The No. 5-ranked Lindsey Wilson men’s tennis team captured its 19th Mid-South Conference regular season championship on Monday with a 7-0 sweep of Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.).

With the win, the Blue Raiders have extended their winning streak to 10 matches, improving to 12-2 overall and a perfect 6-0 in conference play.

Lindsey Wilson closes out the regular season on Saturday, April 11, against No. 13 Missouri Baptist.
