2025 NAIA Men's Indoor Track Athletes of the Week - No. 2 (January 22)
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Payton Mauldin of Dordt (Iowa) has been named the NAIA Men’s Indoor Track Athlete of the Week, while Blake Willey of Grand View (Iowa) has been named the NAIA Men's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week. The duo was selected based on their performances from January 13-19 and were chosen out of a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unaffiliated group nominees.
Athletes of the Week are announced on Wednesday on naia.org, Instagram, and X throughout the regular season.

NAIA Men's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week
Payton Mauldin, Dordt (Iowa) - SR
- Won three events at the Mount Marty Invite
- Ran a 1:53 split in his 800-meter leg of the distance medley to earn an NAIA “B” standard
- Won the 600-meter run with an “A” standard time of 1:17.35, which is the top time in the NAIA this winter
- Won the 200-meter dash in an “A" standard time of 21.79
NAIA Men's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week
Blake Willey, Grand View (Iowa) - SR
- Participated in the Chelsey M. Henkenius Open
- Won the shot put with a toss of 17.04 meters
- His throw improved his “A” standard distance while being the top toss in the NAIA this winter
