2025 NAIA Men's Outdoor Track Netting Professionals Athletes of the Week - No. 1 (March 12)
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Davien Worrels of Southeastern (Fla.) has been named the NAIA Men's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week, while Kaleo Wellman of Bushnell (Ore.) has been named the NAIA Men's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week. The duo was selected based on their performances from March 3-9 and were chosen from a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unaffiliated group nominees.
Athletes of the Week are announced on Wednesday on naia.org, Instagram, and X throughout the regular season.

NAIA Men's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week
Davien Worrels, Southeastern (Fla.) - SR
- Competed in the Tampa Track Classic
- Won both the 100-meter and 200-meter dash events
- Won the 100-meter in a time of 10.73 out of 22 competitors
- Won the 200-meter in a mark of 21.42 out of 42 runners
NAIA Men's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week
Kaleo Wellman, Bushnell (Ore.) – SO
- Competed in the Rich Allen Classic
- Won the Long Jump with a mark of 7.33m
- His jump was a new school record and an NAIA "B" Standard
