WHAC Outstanding Performer, Stuart Zachariah, Lands Men's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Cornerstone (Mich.) junior Stuart Zachariah Stovall of Fishers, Indiana, has been named the Men’s Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week after a dominant showing at the WHAC Championships on May 1–2.
Stovall continued his outstanding outdoor season by capturing the conference title in the hammer throw with a winning mark of 62.67 meters, an “A” standard performance that topped the field.
Stovall’s impact extended beyond the hammer ring. He added a runner-up finish in the discus, placing second with a throw of 51.27 meters, a “B” standard mark that helped Cornerstone score valuable points across multiple throwing events.
In recognition of his performances, Stovall was also honored with the WHAC’s Most Outstanding Performance award and was named co-Most Valuable Performer, underscoring both the quality of his results and the significance of his contributions at the conference’s premier outdoor meet.
