KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Daniel Butler of the College of Idaho has been named the NAIA Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week. Butler was selected based on their performances from September 16-22 and was chosen out of a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unaffiliated group nominees.

Runners of the Week are announced weekly throughout the regular season on Wednesdays on naia.org, Instagram and X.

• Finished first out of 94 runners with a time of 24:32.7
• Helped lead the Yotes to a team victory
• Field featured a majority of the Cascade Conference teams, in addition to Division 1 University of Portland
