KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Daniel Butler of the College of Idaho has been named the NAIA Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week. Butler was selected based on their performances from September 30 – October 6 and was chosen from a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unaffiliated group nominees.

Runners of the Week are announced weekly throughout the regular season on Wednesdays on naia.org, Instagram and X.

• Ran in the 49^th Charles Bowles Williamette Invitational
• Finished first of 279 runners in the 8k
• His time of 23:47.4 helped the team to a first place finish as College of Idaho had a 1-2-3 finish at the meet
