2025 NAIA Softball Players of the Week - No. 9 (April 22)

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Madi Ogden of Ro Grande (Ohio) has been named the NAIA Softball Pitcher of the Week, and Madison Cosgrove of Middle Georgia State has been named the NAIA Softball Player of the Week. The duo was selected based on their performances from April 14-20 and was chosen out of a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unafilliated group nominees. 

Players of the Week are announced weekly throughout the regular season on Tuesdays on naia.org, Instagram, and Twitter.

NAIA Softball Pitcher of the Week

Madi Ogden, Rio Grande (Ohio) - SR - Pitcher

  • Tossed three stellar games last week for Rio Grande, where she averaged 12.44 strikeouts per seven innings.
  • Through 18 total innings pitched, she allowed just a trio of hits, no runs, and struck out a total of 32 batters.
  • The senior posted a .28 WHIP, earning three wins to her season total and adding a pair of complete game performances.

NAIA Softball Player of the Week

Madison Cosgrove, Middle Georgia State- JR - Utility

  • Cosgrove was tough at the plate and caused havoc for opposing defenses with her base running last week.
  • The Columbus, Ga., native was 9-for-12, scoring five runs, and driving in 14 RBI on a double and two long shots.
  • She also went 8-for-8 on stolen bases while posting a slash of .750/.800/1.333
