Jayden Anderson of USAO (Okla.) Goes Back-To-Back With Pitcher of the Week Honors

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Jayden Anderson of Science & Arts (Okla.) Drovers go back-to-back in the last two installments of NAIA Softball Pitcher of the Week honors for the 2026 season. After securing the honor just a week ago, she ran it back with a two-game outing against No. 2 Oklahoma City, where she posted a .58 ERA across her 12 innings pitched.

The junior right-hander was locked in for the marquee Sooner Athletic Conference matchup last week. On April 17, her outing against OCU lasted just five innings, but those five innings were the game; she struck out three batters and allowed just one walk while holding the Stars scoreless. In the series finale on the 18th, she took the circle again, this time tossing a full seven innings, striking out two batters, and allowing just one run as the Drovers picked up the 7-1 victory.

Anderson doubled down in the last two weeks as she improved her career marks to 37-6 with a 1.67 ERA, and 265 strikeouts across 285.1 innings of work.

Anderson and Co. are back in action for the final series of the regular season, starting on April 24 against Mid-America Christian (Okla.). The games on April 24 will get underway at 5 and 7 p.m. CT, with the series closing out on the 25th at noon and 2 p.m. CT.
