Abby Robakowski of Saint Francis (Ind.) Led the Cougars to a Perfect Week, Earning Player of the Week Honors
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Abby Robakowski of Saint Francis (Ind.) was a tough out across the eight Crossroad League games last week. The Junior hit a collective .560 over eight games, averaging one home run and two RBI per contest, earning Week 11 national player of the week honors.
The Cougars' junior infielder had a hot bat last week at home. She was also a tough out for opponents with a slash of .560/.607/1.600. Robakowski went 14-for-25 at the plate with 12 runs and 16 RBI. Two of those hits were doubles, while eight cleared the outfield wall. She was consistent all week long, posting nearly identical numbers across all eight games. Forty total bases and 10 extra-base hits across 28 plate appearances. Abby was seeing the ball clearly, lifting her team to a perfect week of games at home.
Robakowski and Co. are back in action later today, April 14, when they travel to Mount Vernon, Ohio, for a two-game series against Mount Vernon Nazarene (Ohio). The games are set to get underway at 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. ET.
