Keiser (Fla.) Junior Two-Way Standout Ashlea Klam Tabbed NAIA Flag Player of the Year
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Keiser (Fla.) junior safety and wide receiver Ashlea Klam is the 2026 NAIA Women's Flag Football Player of the Year after leading the Seahawks to the title game of the Inaugural NAIA Women's Flag Football Invitational.
A two-way standout from Austin, Texas, Klam picked off 12 passes and had eight pass breakups in 2026, adding 34 flag pulls in the Seahawk secondary.
On offense, she caught 85 passes for 956 yards over 19 games, hauling in 21 touchdown receptions with a long of 45 yards.
Klam ranked ninth in the NAIA in scoring, with all 21 touchdowns the result of a reception, adding 10 2-point conversions.
The Seahawks ended the year 16-5, with an 8-1 mark in The Sun Conference.
