DECATUR, Ala. – [Watch On-Demand] Benedictine (Kan.) completed a perfect season Friday evening, using a relentless offensive attack and dominant possession play to defeat SCAD Savannah (Ga.) 18-10 in the championship game of the 2026 NAIA Women's Lacrosse National Championship at Jack Allen Complex.

The Ravens finished the season 19-0 and secured the program’s second national championship in as many seasons behind a balanced offense led by First-Team All-Americans Kaylen Moore and Lorelei Siegel. BC controlled the pace throughout the night, outshooting SCAD Savannah 38-24, winning the draw-control battle 18-12, and forcing 19 turnovers.

Siegel scored a game-high six goals on 12 shots, while Tournament MVP Moore added four goals and four assists in a dominant all-around performance. Mackenna Hill contributed three goals and two assists, and Lile Chekas added two goals and an assist.

SCAD was paced by Ellen Benintendi, who scored three goals and controlled six draws, while McKinsey Brown added two goals and an assist. Maddie Krohn scored twice, and Annise Berkeley finished with one goal and two assists.

Benedictine established control early. Siegel opened the scoring at the 11:41 mark of the first quarter before Moore found the net just over a minute later to push the Ravens ahead 2-0. SCAD answered quickly with a goal from Brown, but Benedictine closed the quarter with goals from Hill and Siegel to take a 4-1 lead after 15 minutes.

The Ravens continued to build momentum in the second quarter. Siegel scored early in the frame before Krohn answered with back-to-back man-up goals to cut the deficit to 6-3 briefly. Benedictine responded immediately, however, as Moore converted a free-position opportunity and Alexa Hildenbrand added another goal to send the Ravens into halftime with an 8-3 advantage.

SCAD attempted to mount a comeback in the third quarter. Karley Holland opened the period with a free-position score, and Benintendi later added a goal off an assist from Berkeley to trim the margin to 9-5. Benedictine answered every push. Moore and Siegel each scored during a pivotal stretch, and the Ravens capitalized on consecutive man-up opportunities late in the quarter to extend the lead to 12-5 before Maddy Hahn scored in the final minute for SCAD.

Any remaining momentum for the Bees was lost early in the fourth quarter. Siegel scored less than a minute into the period, and Benedictine followed with a decisive 5-0 run fueled by man-up goals from Moore, Hill, and Chekas. The Ravens eventually built their largest lead of the night at 18-7 with 3:58 remaining before SCAD closed the game with three late goals.

Goalkeeper Molly Owen anchored the Benedictine defense with seven saves, while SCAD goalkeeper Chloe Zundel recorded 11 saves despite facing 29 shots on goal.
