The Mid-South's Top Goalkeeper Demi Serman Picks up Two Shutout Wins Against Top 25 Opponents
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Across two games last week, freshman goalkeeper Demi Serman played like a veteran for the Blue Raiders of Lindsey Wilson (Ky.), earning herself national recognition as the NAIA Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week.
Serman picked up two massive wins for LWU, both of which were shutouts. She started her week by holding Cumberlands (Ky.) scoreless, making five saves. She then followed that up with another shutout victory against Georgia Gwinnett, where she made four saves.
Serman holds the top save percentage in the Mid-South against conference opponents at 0.864 (best among Mid-South goalkeepers with at least two starts).
