2025 NAIA Women's Swimming and Diving National Championship Recap - Day 1

Elkhart, Ind. – The 2025 NAIA Women’s Swimming & Diving Championships opened Wednesday night as the 200 medley relay and the 800 free relay were contested at the Elkhart Aquatic Center.

  • Keiser (Fla.) notched a pair of wins and tallied 80 points to jump atop the team leaderboard. Zselyke Papp, Nikoline Biltoft-Jensen, Luiza Bersi, and Ines Laurent opened the meet with a winning time of 1:41.86 in the 200 medley relay.  The Seahawks also placed first in the 800 free relay, touching the wall in 7:28.96. 
  • Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) posted a pair of runner-up finishes to be in second place with 68 points.  The Blue Raiders clocked a 1:42.79 in the 200 medley relay and a 7:36.35 in the 800 free relay. 
  • Cumberlands (Ky.) utilized a pair of top-five finishes on the day to sit in third place with 60 points.  The Patriots performances was highlighted by a third place finish in the 800 free relay.
  • Bethel (Ind.) is in fourth place with 54 points, while Olivet Nazarene (Ill.) rounds out the top five with 48 points.

The NAIA Championship will continue Thursday, March 6, with the second day of competition. Prelims are slated to begin at 9 a.m. EST, and finals will start at 5 p.m. EST.
