KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Violet Apisah of Keiser (Fla.) earned NAIA Women's tennis player of the week after a fantastic week on the court. Apisah was selected based on performances from March 3-10 and was chosen out of a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unaffiliated group and independent institution nominees. Players of the Week are announced weekly throughout the regular season on Wednesdays on naia.org, Instagram and Twitter.

• Took down the 20th ranked women's tennis player in NCAA DII in straight sets.
• Improved to 7-2 on the season after a 1-0 week.
