Violet Apisah Guides Keiser to Three Wins, Earning First Women's Tennis Honor in 2026

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Violet Apisah led No. 1 Keiser (Fla.) to a 3-0 week to close the month of February, including a 6-0, 6-0 victory in the No. 1 position against Leticia Orlandov from No. 15 St. Thomas (Fla.), earning the first NAIA Women's Tennis Player of the Week designation of the 2026 season.

Apisah, a senior from Sydney, Australia, delivered a flawless week at the No. 1 position in both singles and doubles, leading Keiser to a perfect 3-0 record with wins over Palm Beach Atlantic, 15th-ranked STU, and NCAA Division II's 10th-ranked team, Flagler.

Competing at the top singles flight, Apisah went 2-0, claiming her 100th career singles victory in the win over St. Thomas, making her just the second player in Keiser program history to reach the milestone and the first women’s player to accomplish the feat.

She followed that historic performance with an impressive straight-set win (6-3, 6-3) over NCAA Division II No. 25 Eryka Kruk of Flagler. In doubles action, Apisah partnered with Patricia Apisah at the No. 1 position and posted a perfect 3-0 record. Over the course of the week, Apisah surrendered just seven total games in singles competition and has Keiser off to their best start in program history.

Keiser is back in action March 10, at Tampa, with first serve set for 2 p.m.
