KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Brenau (Ga.) sophomore Madison Kitson has been named the NAIA Indoor Field Athlete of the Week after a standout performance at the Life U Super Bowl Indoor/Outdoor Polar Meet on Feb. 7, 2026.

Kitson delivered a winning effort in the long jump, taking first place in a 10-athlete field with a mark of 5.99 meters. The jump not only met the NAIA “A” standard, but also set a new Brenau school record, highlighting a major milestone in her sophomore campaign.

She added another high finish on the day in the triple jump, placing second out of six competitors with a best mark of 11.35 meters, continuing a strong all-around showing in the horizontal jumps. 

The team will head to Birmingham, Alabama, for the Bulldog Open on February 14.
