KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Allyson Grava of Cumberlands (Ky.) has been named the NAIA Women’s Volleyball Attacker of the Week, Miriam Miller of Hastings (Neb.) has been named the NAIA Women’s Volleyball Defender of the Week and Aubrey Lenz of Cornerstone (Mich.) has been named the NAIA Women's Volleyball Setter of the Week. The trio was selected based on their performances from September 2-8 and were chosen out of a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unaffiliated group nominees.

Players of the Week are announced weekly throughout the regular season on Tuesdays on naia.org, Instagram and X.

NAIA Women's Volleyball Attacker of the Week 

Allyson Grava, Cumberlands (Ky.) – SR – Outside Hitter

• Posted 57 total kills on the week and averaged 5.18 kills per set.
• In two of three matches (against Berea and Johnson (Tenn.)), Grava recorded a week-high of 21 kills. She also recorded double-doubles in those same matches, with 14 and 15 digs, respectively.
• The senior was efficient in her three performances for a weekly attack percentage of .365. Grava minimized her errors to 11 out of 126 attempts and posted only two and three errors in two different matches.
• Helped her team to a 3-0 week.  

NAIA Women's Volleyball Defender of the Week

Miriam Miller, Hastings (Neb.) – SR – Defensive Specialist

• Totaled 64 digs on the week for an average of 7.11 digs per set.
• In the week's opening match against conference opponent Doane (Neb.), Miller recorded a week-high of 25 digs and averaged an impressive 8.33 digs in the three-set match.
• Did not commit a reception error in three matches on 35 total reception attempts.
• Saw her team to a 2-1 week with wins over Doane and MidAmerica Nazarene (Kan.) and a loss to McPherson (Kan.)

NAIA Women's Volleyball Setter of the Week 

Aubrey Lenz, Cornerstone (Mich.) - SR - Setter

• Recorded 167 assists in four matches for an average of 11.93 per set.
• Had a week-high 54 assists in a five-set match against St. Francis (Ill.).
• Posted her highest average of 14 assists per set in a three-set match against IU South Bend (Ind.).
• Saw her team to a 3-1 week with wins over Michigan-Dearborn, Cumberland (Tenn.) and IU South Bend and a loss to Cumberland (Tenn.).
