KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Nina Janjic of Providence (Mont.) has been named the NAIA Women’s Volleyball Attacker of the Week, Bianca Grassi of St. Thomas (Fla.) has been named the NAIA Women’s Volleyball Defender of the Week and Bella Thompson of Providence (Mont.) has been named the NAIA Women's Volleyball Setter of the Week. The trio was selected based on their performances from September 30 – October 6 and were chosen out of a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unaffiliated group nominees.

Players of the Week are announced weekly throughout the regular season on Tuesdays on naia.org, Instagram and X.

NAIA Women's Volleyball Attacker of the Week 

Nina Janjic, Providence (Mont.) – SR – Right Side Hitter

• Totaled 31 kills in two matches for an average of 5.17 kills per set
• Recorded an attack percentage of .538, where the senior recorded only three errors in 52 total attempts
• Posted an impressive attack percentage of .682 against Rocky Mountain (Mont.)
• Helped her team to a 2-0 week, in which the team swept both Rocky Mountain and Carroll (Mont.)

NAIA Women's Volleyball Defender of the Week

Bianca Grassi, St. Thomas (Fla.) – SR – Defensive Specialist

• Totaled 48 digs on the week
• Averaged eight digs per set
• With her numbers this week, Grassi surpassed 2,000 career digs
• Helped her team to an undefeated week where the team defeated both Ave Maria (Fla.) and Southeastern (Fla.)

NAIA Women's Volleyball Setter of the Week 

Bella Thompson, Providence (Mont.) – JR – Setter

• Recorded a total of 84 assists in two matches for an average of 14 assists per set
• Posted a week-high of 45 assists against Carroll (Mont.)
• Boasted a double-double in both contests last week against Rocky Mountain (Mont.) (39 assists, 15 digs) and Carroll (45 assists, 12 digs)
• Guided her team to an undefeated week where the team did not drop a set
