Evelyn Rohrberg Soars to National Honors
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Evelyn Rohrberg, a junior at Oklahoma Wesleyan, has been named the NAIA Women's Volleyball Attacker of the Week. Rohrberg's week was highlighted by two performances that showcased her skill.
On October 1, Oklahoma Wesleyan faced Southwestern (Kan.), where Rohrberg delivered an impressive 15 kills with a hitting percentage of .500. Her performance was a key factor in the team's 3-0 sweep, as she averaged an astounding 5.00 kills per set.
The momentum continued on October 4 against Tabor (Kan.), where Rohrberg outdid herself with 18 kills and a remarkable hitting percentage of .593. Once again, her contributions were pivotal in securing another 3-0 victory for the Eagles. Rohrberg averaged 6.00 kills per set in the match.
Across two matches, she accumulated 33 kills with an average of 5.50 kills per set and a hitting percentage of .547. Not only did Rohrberg shine offensively, but she also contributed defensively with two digs and a total of one block assist.
