Bellevue (Neb.) Advances to Quarterfinal Play on a Reverse Sweep

SIOUX CITY, Iowa [BOX SCORE | BRACKET] - In the 2025 NAIA Women's Volleyball National Championship, the Bellevue (Neb.) Bruins reverse-swept the Oklahoma Wesleyan Eagles (18-25, 20-25, 25-15, 25-19, 15-12).

For the Bruins, Eve Fountain led the attack with 23 kills on a .296 hitting percentage. She was followed by Savanna Berger, who tallied 10 of her own, along with four block assists. Mila Aiwohi recorded a double-double on the night with 23 assists and 15 digs. Zoie Roghair was right behind her defensively with 14 digs.


Evelyn Rohrberg and Maia Rubio had standout performances for the Eagles, contributing 18 and 19 kills, respectively. Together, they also combined for 21 digs on the night. Orchestrating, Oklahoma Wesleyans' attack was setter Sydney Collins, who notched 44 assists.

The Eagles led in both digs and kills over the Bruins (OKWU - 93 digs, 60 kills, BU- 77 digs, 55 kills).

With the loss, Oklahoma Wesleyan is eliminated from championship play.


Bellevue advances as the winner of pool G into quarterfinal play, marking their fourth time in program history. The Bruins return to action Saturday, December 6, at 5:30 p.m. CT, taking on Northwestern (Iowa).
