KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Olivia Brown of Grand View (Iowa) has been named the NAIA Women’s Wrestler of the Week. The winner was selected based on performances from January 6-12 and was chosen out of a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unaffiliated group nominees. 

Wrestlers of the Week are announced weekly throughout the regular season on Wednesdays on naia.org, Instagram and X.

Olivia Brown, Grand View (Iowa) - SR - 207

• Brown was dominant over the weekend at the NWCA National Duals in her three matches.
• Posted three upset victories, shutting out her opponents with two wins by decision and one by tech fall.
• Her three ranked wins were against third, fourth, and fifth-ranked individuals.
