2024 NAIA Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week - No. 6 (October 9)

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Kirsten Geary of Milligan (Tenn.) has been named the NAIA Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week. Geary was selected based on her performances from September 30 – October 6 and was chosen from a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unaffiliated group nominees.

Runners of the Week are announced weekly throughout the regular season on Wednesdays on naia.org, Instagram and X.

NAIA Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week 

Kirsten Geary, Milligan (Tenn.) - JR

  • Ran in the Pirate Cross Country Invitational
  • Finished 10th of 209 runners in the 6k
  • She recorded a time of 21:58.9 and was the first NAIA finisher in the meet, which helped solidify the team's fourth-place finish. The next NAIA finisher was her teammate, who posted a time that was about 51 seconds difference.
