2025 NAIA Women's Indoor Track Athletes of the Week - No. 1 (January 15)
Kansas City, Mo. – Ny’tierra Hobbs of Madonna (Mich.) has been named the NAIA Women’s Indoor Track Athlete of the Week, while Madison Sutton of Doane (Neb.) has been named the NAIA Women's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week. The duo was selected based on their performances from January 6 through January 12 and were chosen out of a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unaffiliated group nominees.
Athletes of the Week are announced on Wednesday on naia.org, Instagram, and X throughout the regular season.

NAIA Women's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week
Ny’tierra Hobbs, Madonna (Mich.) – SR
- Won both the 60-meter and 200-meter races at the Wolverine Invite
- Set a new school record in winning the 60-meter in a time of 7.42
- Her time in the 60-meter dash is the fastest in the NAIA this winter
- Won the 200-meter dash in a time of 24.38
NAIA Women's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week
Madison Sutton, Doane (Neb.) – SR
- Won both the weight throw and shot put at the Scott Nisely Classic
- Earned the top spot in the weight throw with a toss of 17.97 meters
- Won the shot put with a throw of 14.41 meters
- Both throws are currently third in the NAIA this winter
