KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Christianah Ogunsanya of William Penn (Iowa) has been named the NAIA Women’s Wrestler of the Week. The winner was selected based on performances from February 10-16 and was chosen out of a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unaffiliated group nominees.
Wrestlers of the Week are announced weekly throughout the regular season on Wednesdays on naia.org, Instagram and X.

Christianah Ogunsanya, William Penn (Iowa) - FR - 117
- Ogunsanya posted another big week on the mat at the Baker Jimmy May Open.
- She won all five matches she wrestled in by tech fall, including a 10-0 victory over second-ranked NAIA Wrestler Camille Fournier of Texas Wesleyan.
- On the season, Ogunsanya is a perfect 16-0 heading into the postseason.
